Under construction
- Parkside Village, by Amacon, will be a large development of about a dozen mixed-use towers on the west side of City Centre, between Confederation Parkway and the sprawl to the west. It was announced in the early 2000s and put on hold until Amacon's other Mississauga projects were done. Construction started in 2010, and as of 2013 the first three buildings are nearing completion.
- Pinnacle Grand Park at Burnhamthorpe Road West and Grand Park Drive and Pinnacle Uptown at Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue West are two highrise condo developments by Pinnacle International. Both have started construction.
- Sheridan College is building the second phase of its campus on Duke of York Blvd.
- The District at Lakeview, at 501 Lakeshore Road East by RioCan/Trinity, is a combined condo, retail, and office development.
- Skymark Square at 5100 Satellite Drive, an office and retail development by HOOPP.
- Mirage, also by The Conservatory Group, currently in sales, will be built next to Universal, at 339 Rathburn Road West.
- Churchill Meadows is Mississauga's last monster subdivision, within the bounding box of Britannia, Winston Churchill, 403, and Ninth Line. The residential area is fully developed, and the employment area (big boxes and light industry) is under construction. It's unique among Mississauga's new residential subdivisions in that Mississauga Plan permits mixed residential and commercial uses on portions of its main streets, which are Eglinton Avenue West, Tenth Line, and Thomas Street.
- Central Park by Daniels is a large mostly-residential development in City Centre, between Confederation Parkway and Living Arts Drive. Completed towers are The Capital, Amica at City Centre, One Park Tower, Chicago, and Limelight, across from Sheridan College. Daniels also owns the lot between One Park and the Living Arts Centre and plans to build two additional towers there eventually.
Proposed
- Summit Eglinton by Summit View Homes at Hurontario and Nahani is a proposed mostly residential development with three apartment buildings (no word on whether they would be condo or rental), and both condo and freehold townhouses.
- The Conservatory Group also owns the vacant land at Dundas Street West and Confederation Parkway, and has submitted many development proposals. The currently approved plan is for townhouses on the whole site with retail on Dundas.
- There are a few other sites for potential new development in Cooksville, such as Metro at Agnes and Cook, and an as-yet unnamed proposal at Dundas and Novar. Mariott also has tentative plans for a hotel on Kirwin Avenue.
- Baif Developments is planning condos, and potentially a hotel or office tower, along an extended Webb Drive from Palgrave Road to Kariya Drive.
Recently finished
- Absolute World by Fernbrook is that development with the two curvy towers that everyone is talking about. It's located at Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road East.
- North Shore by FRAM Building Group is a condo and retirement home complex at the foot of Hurontario between Lakeshore and Park, controversial in its day for taking the place of the heritage listed Gray House, among other things.
- Creekside Crossing, a big-box complex including a Wal-Mart, bordering on Dixie GO Station.
